A Fresh Start: Job Hunting 2016

After working for the same company for almost 12 years, I was laid off in March 2016 due to workforce reduction. Hundreds of employees were let go on the same day, including some very talented people. I have never been without a job and I have never been laid off before. There have been mass layoffs at my company since I joined them in 2004, but I was never impacted directly.

I've decided that I am going to look at this road in my life's journey as an Opportunity. An opportunity to find a career that I am passionate about, that I would be good at, and that I would love to do every day. I have to admit, I was complacent at my company and position for a long time. I wasn't very happy.

This is my Fresh Start to figure out: "What do I want to be when I grow up?"

This page will track this specific road to finding a new career.
