Gratitude

I'm on a mission to focus on the POSITIVE things in life. In order to do that, I've been writing down things I'm grateful for every day. In order to keep this up, I've been posting my gratitude lists on my blog. All my Gratitude Posts have been tagged and can be viewed here or see below by week.

Every day I write 1-3 things down in my NOTES app in my iPhone. I read my list every single day and then I add to it. I try to do this first thing in the morning so that I start off the day with positive thoughts.

What are you grateful for? 

Goal:
  • Focus on things that I'm grateful for, focusing on the positive aspects of my life. 
Deadline:
  • For now, make this a habit! Finish 2015 with doing this daily and posting a blog entry weekly. 

Obstacles:
  • Getting too busy. 
  • Losing motivation. 
  • Not finding the time. 
  • Being distracted. 
  • Not finding the positive in things, having a bad day.

Benefits of Achieving the Goal: 
  • Uplifting my spirit. 
  • Starting the day being grateful and focusing on the positive. 
Plan:
  • Use the NOTES app in my phone and keep a running list of things I'm grateful for. 
  • Write at least 1 thing a day. 
  • Update blog weekly, to be held accountable until habit is formed (Thought: possibly move to monthly later?)
