IUI Timeline

My IUI's:
  1. April 2015: Clomid (50 mg), 1 follicle = BFN
  2. May 2015: Clomid (100 mg), 1-2 follicles = BFN
  3. July 2015: Clomid (100 mg) + Bravelle Injectable (75 iu), 2-3 follicles = BFN
  4. August 2015: Clomid (100 mg) + Bravelle Injectable (75 iu), 3 follicles = BFN
  5. September 2015: Clomid (100 mg) + Gonal-F Injectable (75 iu), 3 follicles = BFN
  6. October 2015: Clomid (150 mg) + Gonal-F Injectable (75 iu), 2-3 follicles = BFN
Below are the details of each of my cycles including: monitoring appointments, reactions to the medications, medication protocols, IUI procedure, Two Week Wait experience, and Beta Testing.

After 6 medicated and monitored IUI's, I moved to IVF.

Cycle #1: IUI NTT - BFN
  • CD #1: 3/30/15. 
  • CD #3: Baseline Ultrasound. 
    • CD #3-7: Clomid 
    • CD #11: Mid-Cycle Ultrasound. 
      • Follicles: 1 leading at 16mm. 
    • CD #14: HCG Pregnyl (10,000 iu) Trigger Shot: 4/12/15 @ 2:15 a.m.  
    • CD #15: IUI 4/13/15 @ 2:15 p.m. 
      • Sperm Analysis (Donor #1): 18.4 million motile sperm, 46% Motility. 
    • Two Week Wait: Week 1, Week 2. 
    • CD #16-28: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
    • CD #29: Beta Test 4/27/15 - NTT
    • Other Medications: 
      • Starting CD 3 - until Beta Test: Baby Aspirin (81 mg) daily. 
      • Prenatal Vitamins: Daily 
      • Metformin: Daily 2x's a day (1000 mg/day) 

    Cycle #2: IUI NTT - BFN
    • CD #1: 4/29/15. 
    • CD #3: 5/1/15. Baseline Ultrasound. 
    • CD #3-7: Clomid (100 mg x 5 days)  
      • CD #10: 5/8/15, Mid-Cycle Ultrasound. 
        • Follicles: 1 leading at 21mm, possible second one at 14mm. 
      • CD #12: 5/10/15 @ 4:15 am, HCG Pregnyl Trigger Shot (10,000 iu)
      • CD #13: 5/11/15 @ 4:15 pm, IUI!  
        • Sperm Analysis (Donor #1): 43.2 million motile sperm, 64% Motility. 
      • Two Week Wait: Week 1, Week 2
      • CD #14-27: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
      • CD #28: 5/26/15 @ 7:45am, Beta Test. NTT
      • Other Medications: 
        • Starting CD 3 - until Beta Test: Baby Aspirin (81 mg) daily. 
        • Prenatal Vitamins: Daily 
        • Metformin: Daily 2x's a day (1000 mg/day) 

      June 2015: Month Off 

      • Taking a month off due to travel schedule. 
      • 6/15/15: Consult with RE on Medication Protocol. 

      Cycle #3: IUI NTT - BFN 
      • CD #1: 6/29/15
      • CD #3: 7/1/15 @ 1:00 p.m. Ultrasound Follicle/Cyst Check. 
      • CD #3-7: Clomid (100 mg x 5 days) "Mini-Stimulation IUI" 
      • CD #8-10: FSH Injectable - Bravelle (75 iu x 3 days) 
      • CD #11: 7/9/15 @ 8:15 a.m. Mid-Cycle Ultrasound. 
      • CD #15: 7/13/15 @ 3:45 p.m. Follow-up Ultrasound. 
        • Follicles: 2 leading at 20mm and 21mm. Possible third at 16mm. 
      • CD #16: 7/14/15 @ 2:15 a.m. HCG Pregnyl Trigger Shot (10,000 iu) 
      • CD #17: 7/15/15 @ 2:15 p.m. IUI 
        • Sperm Analysis (Donor #1): 25 million motile sperm, 48% Motility. 
      • Two Week Wait
      • CD #18-32: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
      • CD #33: 7/31/15 @ 7:45 a.m. Beta Test
      • Other Medications: 
        • Starting CD 3 - until Beta Test: Baby Aspirin (81 mg) daily. 
        • Prenatal Vitamins: Daily 
        • Metformin: Daily 2x's a day (1000 mg/day) 

      Cycle #4: IUI NTT - BFN
      • CD #1: 8/2/15 
      • CD #3: 8/4/15 @ 2:30 p.m. Ultrasound and Follicle/Cyst Check. 
      • CD #3-7: Clomid (100 mg x 5 days) "Mini-Stimulation IUI" 
      • CD #8-10: FSH Injectable - Bravelle (75 iu x 3 days) 
      • CD #13: 8/14/15 @ 2:45 p.m. Mid-Cycle Ultrasound. 
        • Follicles: 2 leading at 24mm and 21mm. Possible third one at 13mm. 
      • CD #15: 8/16/16 @ 3:30 a.m. HCG Trigger
      • CD #16: 8/17/15 @ 3:30 p.m. IUI 
        • Sperm Analysis (Donor #1): 40 million motile sperm, 65% Motility. 
      • Two Week Wait
      • CD #17-29: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
      • CD #30: 8/31/15 @ 8:00 a.m. Beta Test. NTT 
      • Other Medications: 
        • Starting CD 3 - until Beta Test: Baby Aspirin (81 mg) daily. 
        • Prenatal Vitamins: Daily 
        • Metformin: Daily 2x's a day (1000 mg/day)

      • CD #8-10: FSH Injectable - Gonal-F (75 iu x 3 days) 
      • CD #11: 9/11/15 @ 2:45 p.m. Mid-Cycle Ultrasound 
        • Follicles: 17mm, 15mm, 14mm. 
      • CD #14: 9/14/15 @ 8:00 a.m. HCG Trigger Shot, Pregnyl (10,000 iu) 
      • CD #15: 9/15/15 @ 3:00 p.m. IUI  
        • Sperm Analysis (Donor #2): 26.6 million motile sperm, 55% Motility. 
      • Two Week Wait
      • CD #16-28: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
      • CD #29: 9/29/15 @ 8:00 a.m. Beta Test. NTT.

        • Follicles: 16mm, 16mm, 12mm 
      • CD #12: 10/11/15 @ 10:30 p.m. HCG Trigger Shot, Pregnyl (10,000 iu) 
      • CD #14: 10/13/15 @ 10:30 a.m. IUI #6 
        • Sperm Analysis (Donor #3): 38.7 million Motile Sperm, 43% Motility
      • Two Week Wait
      • CD #15-27: Progesterone Vaginal Suppositories. 100 mg 1x a day - day after IUI until pregnancy test. 
      • CD #28: 10/27/15 @ 8:00 a.m. Beta Test. 
      • Other Medications: 
        • Starting CD 3 - until Beta Test: Baby Aspirin (81 mg) daily. 
        • Prenatal Vitamins: Daily 
        • Metformin: Daily 500 mg 2x's a day
